Clippers vs Lakers Analysis<\/h2>\n

What is there to say about the two LA NBA teams that haven\u2019t already been covered by most media outlets so far? The Clippers are dealing with injuries to their two superstars that were supposed to keep this team competitive, and the Lakers, in a nutshell, stink.<\/p>\n

Not even Lebron James playing at his usual high-level self is enough to keep this Laker team off life support. They are not well-coached, they do not play hard, they are not mentally tough, and they do not gel well on the floor.<\/p>\n

These teams are set for their fourth and final meeting this season with the Clippers winning all three of the previous matchups.<\/p>\n

Get the Brooms?<\/h3>\n

The Clippers are 3-0 against the Lakers this season and are looking to make it a clean sweep for the season series. The Clippers covered two of those previous games and would need a win tonight to make it three. Besides their superstars, the Clippers are not expected to be missing any of their key role players for this matchup.<\/p>\n

The Lake Show<\/h3>\n

Talk about a must-win game. Not just for playoff seeding, but for pride. After losing all three matchups to their cross-town rivals this season, the Lakers are looking to avoid the sweep. However, at the moment, the odds may not be in their favor. The Lakers are 6-15 straight up since early January and most recently, are 2-3 against the spread in their last five games.<\/p>\n

The Lakers are currently 1.5 games above the Pelicans for the last spot in the play-in tournament. The Lakers are currently 8.5 games back of the last seed of the actual playoffs. If the Lakers want to avoid the play-in tournament and make a legitimate run at the NBA title, they need to win tonight.<\/p>\n

Clippers vs Lakers Prediction<\/h2>\n

Like I just mentioned, the Lakers must win. No, the season won\u2019t end tomorrow if they don\u2019t, and we\u2019ve seen LeBron make crazy comebacks late in seasons, but this team is not talented enough to go on a cinderella run. But, the LeBron certainly knows this, so I recommend the Lakers +2.5<\/strong>\u00a0tonight.<\/p>\n

The Clippers have bested them three times and I do not see it being a fourth time, especially without Kawhi and Paul George. Ty Lue I\u2019m sure has his guys ready to run through a wall, but sometimes you need to ride with the best player on the planet, especially when he is getting points.<\/p>\n
