Memphis has opened as a 1.5-point road favorite in Minneapolis, with the total sitting at a sky-high 239.5 points.<\/p>\n TIMBERWOLVES vs GRIZZLIES TEAM TOTALS<\/h3>\nTwo pretty crazy totals as the Timberwolves total is 119.5, and the Grizzlies total is 120.5, and it\u2019s understandable. These are the 3rd and 4th highest paced teams in the league, and Memphis has scored 119 or more in eight straight games while Minnesota has scored 118 or more in 10 out of 11 with the one clunker being the last game before the break.<\/p>\n These teams played in January and both totals went under, and I\u2019m going to take Minnesota\u2019s team total under. In their previous four games, they went under against Toronto, they needed OT to get over against Charlotte and they got over against Chicago and Indiana who are atrocious on defense. This total is a bit too high, and Memphis is a surprising 7th in defensive efficiency.<\/p>\n Recommendation: Timberwolves’ Team Total Under 119.5 Points<\/strong><\/p>\n If we\u2019re looking at players to take over on points, I\u2019ll start with Desmond Bane who\u2019s point total is 19.5. He went over in three out of four games before the break, and while he certainly had some tough shooting nights, Minnesota is the 7th-worst team defending shooting guards giving up over 22 points to the position per game.<\/p>\n I\u2019m also going to look at D\u2019Angelo Russell over 29.5 points + rebounds + assists. He had a miserable game against Toronto to finish the break, but had gone over this total in seven out of ten before that and he had a big game against Memphis in January going for 29-3-6.<\/p>\n For an under, I\u2019ll take Patrick Beverley under 20.5 points + rebounds + assists. Memphis is top half in defending point guards, and Beverley has gone under this total in 11 out of his last 13 games.<\/p>\n Recommendation: Patrick Beverley UNDER 20.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists<\/strong><\/p>\n Bane has a great matchup as Minnesota is bad at defending shooting guards, and he had 21 last game against them. Towns has gone over this total in 11 out of 12 games including 25 last game against Memphis.
