Blazers vs Warriors Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Warriors come out of the break traveling to Portland to take on the Trailblazers who have looked good recently as they experience life without Dame and McCollum. The Warriors are a whopping 10-point road favorites tonight with a total of 224.5, so let\u2019s get this post All-Star season started with a win.<\/p>\n

WARRIORS NEED A REBOUND<\/h3>\n

Golden State went into the All-Star break losing four out of five, and they still have the two seed in the West, but it\u2019s getting closer to playoffs and Draymond still isn\u2019t playing and Klay Thompson hasn\u2019t found consistency in his scoring as evident by him scoring 16, 7, 33, 17 his last four games before the break.<\/p>\n

Golden State is 0-5 ATS their last five games, and it\u2019s tough to know if it was just a slump going into All-Star week or if there are cracks in this team. They\u2019ll have a big advantage tonight as Nurkic is out for a while, so that takes away a big weapon to defend, but will it get a win and cover?<\/p>\n

PORTLAND REBUILDING<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s a new era for the Trailblazers as there is no more Lillard-McCollum combo, but now they\u2019re going to be without Nurkic for the foreseeable future, probably the rest of the season IMHO. Even though they\u2019re in rebuild and tank mode, they are in the play-in game fight and they\u2019ve won four in a row.<\/p>\n

These players don\u2019t seem to want to tank, and they aren\u2019t playing like it. Portland is 4-1 ATS their last five games and they won outright against Milwaukee and Memphis before the break. The loss of Nurkic can\u2019t be understated as he\u2019s led them in rebounding in nine straight games, so can Portland keep it close without him?<\/p>\n

BLAZERS vs WARRIORS PREDICTION<\/h2>\n

I just don\u2019t trust this Golden State Warriors team right now and I really don\u2019t trust them laying double-digit points. Both teams are rested, and without Draymond I don\u2019t believe they\u2019ll take advantage of the paint tonight like they could. The ball movement of Portland has been really good, and they seem to have this really nice chemistry that you can\u2019t find in the stats sheet. I\u2019ll take the points and Portland tonight.<\/p>\n
