Kings vs Nuggets Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Denver Nuggets return to action on Thursday night visiting a Sacramento team that has won three of their last four at home inside the Golden 1 Center.<\/p>\n

The Nuggets and Kings face off for the second time this season with Denver running out 121-111 winners at home back at the start of January with the two teams facing off again on Saturday.<\/p>\n

\u2018Joker\u2019s\u2019 MVP Surge<\/h3>\n

The odds for Nikola Jokic to retain his NBA regular season MVP crown have shortened considerably since the start of January.<\/p>\n

The Serbian center went from +1200 a little over a month ago to now +260 as he continues his charge, leading the league in total rebounds, defensive rebounds and win shares this season and hasn\u2019t been slacking on offensive point and assist production either, ranking seventh in the league on total points per game this season at 26.0 and seventh on total assists per game also at 7.9 per game.<\/p>\n

Fox Running Hot for Sacramento<\/h3>\n

The Kings however have their own offensive weapon this season in the form of point guard De\u2019Aaron Fox.<\/p>\n

Fox has led Sacramento\u2019s scoring in four of their last five games overall and has posted a number of assists over that stretch as well.<\/p>\n

With Fox already eclipsing the 1,000 point mark this season and averaging 5.1 assists per game as well, it\u2019s highly likely he continues that dominant form against the Nuggets here on Thursday also.<\/p>\n

Kings vs Nuggets Prediction<\/h2>\n

Denver\u2019s offense has exploded over recent games, going from a season average of 109.9 ppg to now 116.0 ppg over their last three starts, and we expect that to continue here tonight also.<\/p>\n

We like the Denver team total over 118.5 points<\/strong> in this one against Sacramento.<\/p>\n

The Kings rank 29th in the league on overall defensive efficiency this season and allowed 41.4% from three point range as well to the Bulls in last Wednesday night\u2019s loss.<\/p>\n

If Denver, who\u2019ve averaged the league\u2019s fourth-highest points from three-pointers over their last three starts, get into a rhythm here, we see them eclipsing the 120 mark tonight and pushing this one over the total.<\/p>\n

Take the Denver Nuggets team total over 118.5 points on Thursday in their matchup against the Sacramento Kings.<\/p>\n

Nikola Jokic continued to play at an MVP level in that recent surge, scoring 25.4 points per game while shooting 57-percent with 13.4 rebounds per game and nine assists per game during that 12-game stretch.<\/p>\n
