He has struggled to contain left handed batters like Rice this season as well with nine of 13 total home runs coming against them. Although Rice has struggled recently he has still hit 22 of 32 home runs against right handed pitching while slugging .579 against them compared to a .487 slugging percentage against left handed pitching. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Way back at the start of the season when the Yankees played a series against the Mariners in Seattle Rice went 5-9 with two doubles and a home run. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
