Nola has given up 25 home runs this season which is tied for second most among all pitchers this season with 15 of those coming against lefties. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has allowed 12 of the 25 home runs on the road and he has hit five home runs combined in his last two starts (11.1 IP). There\u2019s no doubt that Stowers is underperforming compared to last season when he hit .288 to go along with 25 home runs and has just 13 this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Five of Stowers\u2019 13 home runs have been hit in July and 12 of his 13 have come against right handed pitching. Padres outfielder Jackson Merrill is currently in the midst of his best month hitting so far this season. In July so far he\u2019s batting .298 and slugging .571 while blasting seven of his 15 total home runs as we\u2019ll look for him to cash his home run prop tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has hit five home runs in the last 15 days alone including one in Sunday\u2019s 5-3 win at Miami and is slugging .698 over the last 15 days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

San Diego hosts Colorado who sends righty Michael Lorenzen to the mound allowing left handed batters like Merrill to hit .348 to go along with a .622 slugging percentage including 12 of his 16 total home runs he\u2019s allowed this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Half of those 16 have come on the road and he just allowed two home runs in just 3.2 innings during his last start against Washington. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Merrill is just nine home runs away from tying a career high for a season he set as a rookie in 2024 and if he keeps swinging how he has lately he\u2019ll likely make it there. Take Merrill to hit a home run at +470 odds<\/strong> with other Padres to consider for a home run prop includes Manny Machado (+370)<\/strong> and Gavin Sheets (+470)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
