Conine has just two singles combined in his last two games but just before that he had a home run in three straight games with four in total this month while slugging .571. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Houston sends a struggling Tatsuya Imai to the mound allowing three home runs combined across his last two starts (5 IP). Conine is a left handed batter and against lefties this season Imai is allowing a .268 batting average and .472 slugging percentage including seven of his nine home runs allowed compared to a .169 average and .268 slugging percentage allowed to righties. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the Rockies are in the basement of the NL West once again, McCarthy has rounded into a reliable leadoff hitter for Colorado in which he should net five at-bats in tonight\u2019s game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
