BKFC <\/strong>Hammond Predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Arnold Adams -188 vs Steve Banks +152 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Banks is 45 years old, built like a heavyweight should be, and seemingly has a granite chin. He’s slow, doesn’t move his head much, and relies almost entirely on toughness. He absorbs a ton of\u00a0 punishment, hoping opponents wear themselves out before he starts coming forward. That’s\u00a0 exactly how he won his last fight, but he’s still just 1-3 over his last four appearances.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adams enters on a four-fight losing streak, but context matters. Two of those losses came against the current champion, while the other two were against quality competition.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adams is younger, faster, and the more skilled fighter at this stage. The concern is size and\u00a0cardio. He’ll be giving up weight, and if he can’t hurt Banks early, there’s a real possibility he\u00a0 fades badly in the later rounds.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adams probably needs to win this fight within the first two rounds. If it reaches the  championship rounds, Banks’ durability and pressure could completely flip the fight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can’t believe I’m saying it, but Banks is the underdog worth backing<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brandon Conley -170 vs Aubrey Mendonca +138 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mendonca’s professional debut lasted just 22 seconds thanks to a quick knockout, but this is a\u00a0completely different challenge.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conley has been through long fights, has real BKFC experience, and knows how to manage  himself once the early chaos settles down. If Mendonca doesn’t score another quick finish, the  experience gap becomes enormous. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mendonca is still very raw. As the fight progresses, he’s likely to slow down, his footwork\u00a0becomes sloppier, his guard starts dropping, and his defensive mistakes become much easier to\u00a0 exploit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the initial danger passes, Conley should take over<\/strong>. He’s the easy pick for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BKFC Hammond Main Event<\/strong>: Cameron VanCamp +116 vs Gregoris Cisneros -148<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I don’t trust either fighter in this matchup, so I’ll lean toward the underdog. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cisneros comes over from BYB where he had some success, but we’ve seen several BYB  fighters struggle to make the transition to BKFC. His style leaves a lot to be desired. He stands  upright, carries his hands low, and those defensive issues showed up in a big way when he was  knocked out in just 16 seconds in his last fight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

VanCamp isn’t a natural boxer, but he keeps a solid guard, carries legitimate power, and only  needs one opening to change the fight. Against someone like Cisneros, those openings should  present themselves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cisneros doesn’t appear to have the power to consistently keep VanCamp honest, and I don’t like laying favorite money with him. I’ll take a shot on VanCamp as the underdog<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
