MLB Home Run Props Best Bet of the Day #1: Ian Happ (CHC) +320<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ian Happ heads into Tuesday\u2019s series opener at Colorado as the Cubs home run leader with 14 with 11 of those coming against right handed pitching. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Righty Tomoyuki Sugano takes the mound for the Rockies allowing 11 home runs on the season and eight of those coming against left handed batters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Happ will be batting left handed against Sugano and although he has hit only five of his 14 home runs on the road, he\u2019ll have an advantage to hit his home run props tonight playing in Coors Field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Happ loved playing at Coors Field last season going 6-12 with three doubles and two home runs and in June so far this season he\u2019s batting .250 but slugging .650. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If Happ doesn\u2019t have a home run by the time Sugano exits the game, there\u2019s still hope for Happ to hit a home run with the Rockies bullpen giving up the fifth most home runs of any bullpen in the MLB this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cubs outfielder has hit 21+ home runs in each of the last three seasons and is on his way there this season so let\u2019s take him to hit his home runs props tonight at +320 odds<\/strong>. We\u2019re going to target this Brewers vs Athletics matchup once again tonight for home run props with a whopping 29 runs scored in last night\u2019s series opener. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were 11 total home runs hit in last night\u2019s game which have tilted home run prop odds against us but we still have value targeting outfielder Colby Thomas to hit a home run tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Brewers will send out lefty Robert Gasser to the mound who has allowed two home runs in 13.1 total innings of action this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of Thomas\u2019s 49 total at-bats this season, 42 have come against lefties with Thomas batting .286 and slugging .476 against them this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thomas has just two home runs this season but one of them came six days ago while batting .250 and slugging .625 in June so far. In limited starts Thomas has been listed more towards the top of the order and we\u2019ll assume he starts again tonight with a struggling Lawrence Butler coming off the bench. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With that take Thomas to hit his home run prop at +280<\/strong> with other notable hitters worth taking to hit a home run includes Shea Langeliers (+190)<\/strong> and Brent Rooker (+225)<\/strong> although the odds aren\u2019t as great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
