PFL Brussels Predictions<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Taylor Lapilus -750 vs Jake Hadley +525\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hadley has looked rough for a while now. The volume is low, the power isn\u2019t there, and outside\u00a0of a win over a lower-level opponent in his PFL debut, he\u2019s struggled badly. Alves pieced him\u00a0 up in his last fight, and stylistically this is another difficult matchup for him.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lapilus is 10-1 over his last 11 fights, with the lone loss coming against Farid Basharat, who is a legitimate UFC-level fighter. Lapilus can sometimes fight at a slower pace and make fights ugly,\u00a0 but he\u2019s simply the cleaner striker and more technically sound fighter here. Hadley likely needs\u00a0 takedowns to win, and I\u2019m not convinced he gets them consistently enough.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lapilus by decision<\/strong> is the most likely outcome.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boris Atangana -800 vs Jared Gooden +500\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gooden is in serious trouble here. After getting cut from the UFC, he followed that up with a loss\u00a0 to a grappler who only had three professional MMA fights. At this point, it\u2019s hard to identify\u00a0what his clear path to victory is against someone like Atangana.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boris fights with nonstop pressure, mixes in strikes and takedowns constantly, and forces opponents into ugly fights. He can be a little reckless defensively and there are moments where\u00a0 he\u2019s open to counters, but is Gooden really the guy who\u2019s going to stand in the pocket, absorb\u00a0 that pressure, and win a firefight? Probably not.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boris by finish<\/strong> is the look.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marcirley Alves -130 vs Naoki Inoue +100\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This should be a very competitive fight. Both guys have somewhat similar styles \u2014 lower  volume, patient striking, and neither tends to push a wild pace. It may not be the most action heavy fight on the card, but it should be close throughout. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inoue is long and rangy, and he does a good job landing from the outside while managing\u00a0distance. Alves probably carries more power and may have the bigger moments in exchanges,\u00a0which could end up mattering with the judges in a close fight.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This feels like a fight that likely goes the distance, and I\u2019ll lean Alves<\/strong> based on the stronger impact shots.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asael Adjoudj -470 vs Keisuke Sasu +360\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This could easily be the upset spot on the main card. The odds feel inflated considering Sasu is a legitimate threat with his takedowns and submission game. He\u2019s physically strong, aggressive\u00a0 with the wrestling, and capable of creating bad scrambles.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adjoudj is the cleaner striker and probably the more polished overall fighter on the feet, but he\u2019s\u00a0fought a pretty weak schedule and stands very upright with a karate-style stance that could leave openings for level changes. Sasu can absolutely get this fight to the mat and create problems.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adjoudj deserves to be favored, but these odds feel too wide. Sasu has real live-dog potential here<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PFL Brussels Main Event:<\/strong> Patrick Habirora -1800 v Benson Henderson +1000<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Obvious pick is Habirora, he should absolutely run through Henderson here. He\u2019s undefeated,\u00a0explosive, fast, powerful, and PFL clearly views him as a future star. This feels like a showcase\u00a0 matchup designed to build his profile and get him a highlight finish.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Henderson is 42 years old and has barely been active in real MMA competition. He hasn\u2019t fought an MMA bout since 2022, and since then he\u2019s mostly been coaching while taking exhibition\u00a0 boxing and grappling matches \u2014 and losing those. The speed, athleticism, and physicality gap\u00a0 here is massive.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If books post a first-round KO\/TKO prop, that\u2019s the angle worth targeting<\/strong>. Habirora should\u00a0overwhelm him early.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
