MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #1: Ketel Marte (ARI) +235<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Three-time all-star Ketel Marte hasn\u2019t gotten off to the start he may have wanted hitting just five home runs last season after smashing 28 last season. We\u2019re still going to take his home run prop tonight as the Diamondbacks and Rockies start up a three-game set in Colorado tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rockies send lefty Kyle Freeland to the mound allowing seven home runs in 30 innings this season with three of those coming at home in just 10.2 innings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marte and Freeland are very familiar with one another with the Diamondbacks second baseman going 17-48 with three home runs and a .688 slugging percentage against the Rockies starter all-time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marte has hit all five of his home runs on the road and although these two teams haven\u2019t met yet this season, last year at Coors Field Marte was 11-25 with a home run while sporting a .840 slugging percentage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although all five of Marte\u2019s home runs have come against righties this season he\u2019s still batting .265 against lefties compared to a .193 average against righties. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He did hit nine of his 28 home runs off lefties last season so the timing feels right this season that he gets his first one off a lefty tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Athletics first baseman Nick Kurtz has been locked in as of late coming off home runs in back-to-back games as we\u2019ll look for him to hit his home run prop and make it three straight tonight as the Athletics host the Giants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kurtz has seven home runs this season, and they\u2019ve all really come in bunches with four of them being hit across a six day span in April so we want to strike while the iron is hot again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In May Kurtz is hitting .340 to go along with a .574 slugging percentage as the Giants will send righty Tyler Mahle to the mound. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has struggled on the road this season sporting a 8.16 ERA with four of his home runs allowed in 14.1 innings pitched. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kurtz has been solid at home this season hitting .303 while slugging .515 and six of his seven home runs coming against righties while slugging .546 against them this season as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second year player hit 36 home runs during his rookie season in just 117 games and if he wants to reach 30 home runs again he has to keep his current power streak going. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
