PGA Championship Course: Aronimink Golf Club<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The 2026 PGA Championship <\/strong>heads to historic Aronimink Golf Club <\/strong>in Pennsylvania, a classic Donald Ross design that combines traditional architecture with modern championship\u00a0difficulty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course stretches to nearly 7,400 yards as a par 70<\/strong>, demanding elite ball-striking\u00a0 and patience from start to finish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aronimink features tree-lined fairways, thick rough, and fast\u00a0Bentgrass greens that place a premium on precision rather than pure power.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the fairways are relatively generous in spots, positioning off the tee is critical to create the\u00a0correct angles into the greens. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ross designed the course with subtle movement and strategic\u00a0bunkering, meaning approach shots from the wrong side of the fairway can quickly become defensive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The greens are large but filled with slopes and tiers, making distance control and\u00a0 putting touch essential throughout the week.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aronimink has the feel of a classic major championship venue. Long par-4s, demanding\u00a0 approach shots, and penal rough will force players to stay disciplined and avoid mistakes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expect the course to reward complete golfers \u2014 players who can drive it accurately, control long irons,\u00a0 and scramble efficiently when greens are missed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If conditions firm up, Aronimink could become\u00a0one of the tougher PGA Championship tests in recent memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PGA Championship: Players That Can Trip You Up<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Rory McIlroy <\/strong>is always going to attract money at a major, but this course doesn\u2019t feel like a\u00a0natural fit for him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It rewards accuracy and positioning far more than raw power, and driving\u00a0accuracy has never been his biggest strength. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His putting has also been shaky this season, which\u00a0 is a concern on a setup where missed opportunities add up quickly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019d expect a focused effort\u00a0after last week\u2019s disappointing finish, but that alone doesn\u2019t erase the course-fit concerns. He\u00a0could contend on talent alone, but at this number, I\u2019m out.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bryson DeChambeau <\/strong>is another bomber I don\u2019t trust this week. At majors, he tends to get overly aggressive trying to overpower courses, and on this layout, that strategy brings more downside than upside with all the bunkers and trouble spots. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Precision matters far more than\u00a0 distance here. Add in all the LIV Golf rumors\u2014whether it\u2019s returning to the PGA Tour or\u00a0shifting toward YouTube\/content full time\u2014and it just doesn\u2019t feel like someone fully locked in\u00a0mentally for a Top 10 push at a major. Too many distractions, not enough fit.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jon Rahm <\/strong>still posts strong finishes on LIV Golf, but his game hasn\u2019t looked nearly as dominant\u00a0since making the move. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He finished 38th at the Masters and has just one finish better than 48th in\u00a0 his last four PGA Championships. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stats look fine on paper, but it\u2019s hard to trust numbers built on easier LIV setups compared to major championship conditions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When majors get difficult and demand elite precision for four straight days, Rahm just hasn\u2019t looked like the same\u00a0 player. He\u2019s a fade for me this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PGA Championship: DraftKings Darlings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Matt McCarty ($5,700) <\/strong>is one of the best pure value plays on the board right now. He\u2019s coming\u00a0off back-to-back finishes of 9th and 10th and has now made five straight cuts with all Top 40 results. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The underlying stats are excellent too\u2014accurate off the tee over the last 30 days while\u00a0gaining +0.51 putting <\/strong>and +0.68 on approach<\/strong>. At this salary, you\u2019re getting recent form and\u00a0 elite value.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex Fitzpatrick ($5,900) <\/strong>feels criminally underpriced based on current form. He\u2019s arguably\u00a0one of the hottest golfers in the world right now, striping fairways and attacking greens\u00a0 consistently. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Statistically, he ranks 6th in driving accuracy <\/strong>and 3rd in strokes gained\u00a0 approach <\/strong>in 2026. His recent finishes of 4th, 9th, win, and 6th <\/strong>don\u2019t even include the Zurich victory with his brother. At under $6K, this is one of the strongest DFS values you\u2019ll find all\u00a0 season.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex Smalley ($6,100) <\/strong>continues to quietly produce every week. He\u2019s finished 17th and 7th <\/strong>the\u00a0last two weeks and has only one missed cut all season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the last three months, he\u2019s gained\u00a0strokes in every major category, showing one of the most balanced profiles in the field. With\u00a0current form and consistency at this price, Smalley is another elite value target for DFS builds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rest of Lineup: Sam Burns $8,100, Cameron Young $10,200, Scottie Scheffler $13,900<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
