LIV Golf heads back to Club de Golf Chapultepec <\/strong>in Mexico City, one of the most unique\u00a0venues in professional golf. Sitting at **high elevation\u2014nearly 8,000 feet above sea level\u2014 **this course dramatically changes how the game is played, with the ball traveling significantly\u00a0 farther than usual.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chapultepec is a par-71 layout around 7,300\u20137,400 yards<\/strong>, but the altitude effectively shortens\u00a0the course, allowing players to hit massive drives and attack with shorter clubs into greens<\/strong>.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While that creates scoring opportunities, the course still demands precision. Smith has had the clear edge in this matchup all season, finishing ahead of Dustin Johnson in 4  of the 5 LIV events this year. That consistency gives him a strong baseline in a head-to-head  format. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\u2019s also shown comfort at this course, finishing 5th here last year\u2014just ahead of DJ. That  familiarity matters, especially when both players know the layout. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smith\u2019s game tends to be more reliable week-to-week, particularly with his short game and <\/p>\n\n\n\n

putting, which helps him avoid big numbers and stay in contention. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
