Jamie Siraj -264 vs John Yannis +217\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bad matchup for Yannis. He\u2019s been submitted in his last two losses, while Siraj has submitted\u00a0his last two opponents. Siraj\u2019s striking is serviceable, but he won\u2019t stay on the feet long.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Takedowns and submissions should be there. Yannis has KO power, so I like fight not to go the\u00a0distance, but Siraj likely wins<\/strong> on the ground.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John Castaneda -113 vs Mark Vologdin +108\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fight goes the distance is the play. Vologdin is only 25 with a wrestling and karate background,\u00a0but he struggled on Contender Series and is undersized. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Castaneda has more experience, but his\u00a0last four fights have gone the distance and he lacks finishing upside. He\u2019s the pick to win, but\u00a0decision is most likely<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Allan Nascimento -186 vs Mitch Raposo +178\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nascimento all day. His ground control and submission game are far superior. Raposo doesn\u2019t throw much volume and lacks KO power, and likely won\u2019t stop the takedowns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nascimento\u2019s\u00a0only UFC loss was a close split, while Raposo benefited from a sloppy fight last time.\u00a0 Nascimento sticks to his game plan and dominates on the ground<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jamey-Lyn Horth -156 vs JJ Aldrich +144\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simple analysis \u2014 Horth is better everywhere. She has length, improved striking, and finishing\u00a0ability, including a KO win in her last fight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She can also clinch and wrestle if needed. Aldrich\u00a0beats lower-level fighters but loses to better competition. Horth is the pick<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daria Zhelezniakova +144 vs Melissa Croden -150\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Croden won her debut with grappling against a weak opponent but got dominated on the ground\u00a0last fight. Daria prefers striking and should have the edge on the feet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If she can avoid clinch\u00a0situations and stuff takedowns, she should win. I\u2019ll take Daria as the underdog<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gokhan Saricam -168 vs Tanner Boser +134\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sprinkle on Boser. He struggled in the UFC but looked good in his return fight after time off,\u00a0showing solid cardio and striking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saricam is low-volume and has been beating weak\u00a0competition. He shouldn\u2019t be this big of a favorite. If Boser is refreshed, he can absolutely win<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Julien Leblanc +114 vs Robert Valentin -143\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Valentin is the pick \u2014 it\u2019s now or never. He looked good on TUF but is 0-3 in the UFC. His\u00a0 losses came to grappling and power. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leblanc hasn\u2019t faced strong competition and has struggled\u00a0against lower-level opponents. Valentin should be the better fighter here<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gauge Young -117 v Thiago Moises +113\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Young has struggled when stepping up in competition and didn\u2019t look clean in his last win.\u00a0Moises looked awful last fight, but could rebound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He still has power, grappling, and dangerous\u00a0 leg kicks. At 31, the experience edge matters. I\u2019ll take Moises to bounce back<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jai Herbert +163 vs Mandel Nallo -170\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buying into Nallo here. He\u2019s won five straight by first-round finish and has strong kicks with real\u00a0upside. Herbert continues to disappoint \u2014 he\u2019s long and athletic but doesn\u2019t put it together and\u00a0 gets outworked. Nallo is the pick<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charles Jourdain -133 vs Kyler Phillips +127\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tough fight. Jourdain has submission upside<\/strong>, while Phillips prefers to strike. Phillips has cardio issues and fades badly in round three, which has cost him recently. This likely comes down to\u00a0who manages pace better.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dennis Buzukja +330 vs Marcio Barbosa -405\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbosa by finish. He\u2019s powerful, experienced, and has four straight first-round finishes. Buzukja\u00a0 struggles defensively and can\u2019t stop takedowns. Barbosa is too aggressive and dangerous<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jasmine Jasudavicius -341 vs Karine Silva +279\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tried to find a case for Silva, but it\u2019s not there. Jasmine should be able to wrestle and control thi\u00a0 fight. Silva was taken down repeatedly last fight and won off bottom strikes, but that won\u2019t work\u00a0 here. Jasmine by decision<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UFC Fight Night Main Event: Gilbert Burns +245 vs Mike Malott -305<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I love the dog here with Burns. He\u2019s lost to elite competition only, while Malott hasn\u2019t faced that level. Burns was competitive with top-tier fighters and should be able to pressure and wrestle here. Malott\u2019s gas tank is a concern. This is a step down in class for Burns \u2014 great value at plus money<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
