Though less might be more for Alvaro Arbeloa\u2019s troops, who missed Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham not a whiff in Man City matches, with some observers convinced the attack functions better using as its center piece the mercurial Vinicius, most effective in the same position as Mbappe, coming from the left side into the box, while able to distort opposing defenses with his pace (though Mbappe and Bellingham are available now).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bayern Munich<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The manner in which City was disposed also makes this trip to Madrid very ominous for the Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich, especially as Harry Kane might be a bit less than 100% after sitting out the weekend match vs. Freiburg with an ankle tweak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Note that four of the last five knockout stage matchups between these two in the Champions League have gone to the La Liga entry, including a highly dramatic semifinal two years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s also rare to get Read Madrid at this sort of a plus-price at home, and keep in mind in the one significant challenge Bayern Munich has faced in the Champs League at Arsenal, it lost 3-1 last November 26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich Prediction<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
With the second leg at Allainz Arena, Kane & Co. will have a chance to make up any lost ground in the return leg, but as the first leg at home is the key for Real Madrid, and with the win price the Bernabeu posted +180, we are pulled in to the home side here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Four goals were scored in the first leg (which was at Munch) two years ago, and with the attacking riches both ways here, over 3.5 goals, on offer at even-money, also tempts. Vini to score at +175 could be worth a supplemental punt, as might Kane at even money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
