The only way\u00a0 to play this is <strong>Yakhyaev by first-round finish<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ethyn Ewing -150 vs Rafael Estevam +125\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ewing pulled off a big upset in his debut, but the performance was aided by a poor opponent showing. He has decent striking and cardio but hasn\u2019t shown much ground game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estevam is undefeated at 14-0 and brings a more complete skill set. He should be able to secure takedowns\u00a0and control the fight on the ground.<strong> Estevam is the pick<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Manolo Zecchini +650 vs Tommy McMillen -1000\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a low-level fight where the UFC is trying to get McMillen a win. He\u2019s aggressive and high energy but lacks defense and polish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zecchini hasn\u2019t fought in nearly two years and is also\u00a0very flawed, but at these odds the value is on the underdog. <strong>It\u2019s Zecchini or pass<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jose Delano -400 vs Robert Ruchala +310\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delano has strong cardio, movement, and pressure, and looks like a solid prospect despite\u00a0coming off Contender Series. Ruchala\u2019s debut wasn\u2019t impressive \u2014 he looked slow and\u00a0 defensively vulnerable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delano should be more efficient on the feet and control the fight with his movement. <strong>Delano is the pick<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alessandro Costa -400 vs Stewart Nicoll +310\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Costa is in a great spot. He\u2019s well-rounded with solid striking and decent grappling, and his losses have come against strong competition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nicoll has looked like a fraud at the UFC level\u00a0with poor striking and an underwhelming ground game. <strong>Costa should dominate this fight<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Darrius Flowers +180 vs Lando Vannata -220\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vannata hasn\u2019t fought in two years and hasn\u2019t shown much improvement. His striking and\u00a0wrestling are both questionable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Flowers also has major limitations and struggles to generate\u00a0offense. This is a low-level fight with little betting value, but <strong>Flowers at plus money would be\u00a0the lean<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alice Pereira -125 vs Hailey Cowan +105\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This feels like Cowan\u2019s last chance in the UFC. She has struggled with injuries and inactivity,\u00a0but at least has some striking and clinch ability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pereira is very limited with no real strengths and\u00a0struggles in all areas. Neither fighter is impressive, but <strong>Cowan is the side<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Guilherme Pat -115 vs Thomas Petersen -105\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pat is 31 with limited experience and showed little upside in his debut, relying heavily on clinch control. Petersen isn\u2019t elite but is more well-rounded and has a wrestling edge if needed. This\u00a0 projects as a slow, low-damage fight. Best <strong>play is fight to go the distance<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Azamat Bekoev -600 vs Tresean Gore +430\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bekoev\u2019s last loss came against an improved opponent, so it\u2019s not overly concerning. Gore lacks\u00a0striking and isn\u2019t an effective wrestler despite relying on it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bekoev has significant power and\u00a0should eventually land something big. <strong>Bekoev by KO<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dione Barbosa -150 vs Melissa Gatto +125\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Barbosa is a grinder but struggles with volume and can be controlled by stronger opponents. She\u00a0didn\u2019t look impressive even in her last win. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gatto hasn\u2019t fought in nearly two years, but she has\u00a0better striking, length, and a more diverse skill set. Barbosa is overpriced based on a questionable\u00a0win. <strong>Gatto or pass<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">UFC Fight Night Main Event: Chris Duncan -175 vs Renato Moicano +145<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Duncan is my favorite pick on the card. He\u2019s well-rounded with striking, wrestling, and\u00a0 submission ability, and he\u2019s won four straight fights showing durability and finishing upside.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moicano has openly said he\u2019s just fighting for paychecks, is dealing with injuries, and lacks\u00a0dangerous striking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He needs this fight on the ground, but Duncan should be able to defend those\u00a0attempts. Moicano\u2019s recent performances have been poor.
