West Ham’s Current Form<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The race to escape the Prem’s drop zone might have a new twist with the unlikely developments at Molineux, as Wolves are suddenly picking up points in every outing and now, remarkably, within shouting distance (maybe long shouting distance) of making a miraculous escape. Of course West Ham is very much in that mix, too, currently sitting 18th, but just two points adrift of safety and Forest in 17th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Hammers’ mood is still upbeat, say sources, as Nuno has generally been able to coax some better efforts from his side since later January, with the only recent losses coming vs. Champs League entries and contenders Chelsea and Liverpool. Even at Anfield last weekend, West Ham made a fist of it, threatening to get back into the match in the second half after goals from Tom\u00e1s Soucek and Valentin Castellanos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Having blown recent late leads in that Chelsea match and also vs. Man United (which ended 1-1), West Ham has been in position to do a bit better the past month, and with Jerrod \u201cMr Reliable\u201d Bowen, Callum Wilson, and the aforementioned Soucek (17 goals between them), the Hammers have some sharp edges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fulham’s Current Form<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019a a short ride across London Town to land astirde the Thames at Fulham, which has moved well clear of the drop zone and into mid-table safety with back-to-back wins over Sunderland and Spurs. Yet Marco Silva\u2019s side had dropped its previous three in the Prem while surrendering eight goals, and has not always looked convincing this season, even in the recent wins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Raul Jimenez, who recently scored a brace in the Sunderland triumph, scored the late match-winner vs. the Hammers on December 27, but enough fight lately shown by Nuno\u2019s side to suggest it can get a result at the Cottage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fulham vs West Ham Prediction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
We are very tempted on the Draw price at +250, but slight preference here might be the Hammers on the Asian Line, +0.25 goals at +105<\/strong> or thereabouts, as the uptick for Nuno\u2019s troops has lasted long enough that we suspect it can sustain a bit longer, and several recent efforts might be good for all three points here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Bowen, always around the action and having scoring chances in every game, to net at +220 looks a worthwhile chance in a supplemental manner, and we might also look \u201cunder\u201d 2.5 goals on offer at +110 (Bowen to be the Hammers’ only goalscorer would not be unprecedented, havbing happened nine times since last season.)
