AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Course: Spyglass Hill GC<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am <\/strong>features a no-cut, 80-player field<\/strong>, with amateurs paired\u00a0alongside the pros for the first two rounds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Players will rotate between Pebble Beach Golf Links <\/strong>and Spyglass Hill <\/strong>on Thursday and Friday, before the entire field shifts exclusively to Pebble\u00a0Beach <\/strong>for the weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With every player guaranteed four rounds, scoring consistency and\u00a0 patience are just as important as firepower.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pebble Beach is the clear headliner\u2014short on the card but demanding in execution, thanks to\u00a0tiny greens, heavy coastal air, and severe penalty for missed approaches<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spyglass Hill\u00a0provides a sterner tee-to-green test, particularly off the tee, where accuracy is required through tree-lined corridors before emerging into more exposed coastal holes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, the two courses\u00a0reward precise iron play, creativity around the greens, and strong scrambling.\u00a0Weather looks manageable but not perfect<\/strong>, with temperatures hovering around 55 degrees <\/strong>and winds near 15 mph<\/strong>, which will keep conditions cool and slightly challenging, especially in the afternoons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With no cut and receptive greens, expect steady scoring rather than a full\u00a0 shootout. The winner will likely be the player who controls ball flight in the breeze, avoids big\u00a0 numbers on Pebble\u2019s small greens, and stays patient across all four rounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am: Players That Can Trip You Up<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tommy Fleetwood <\/strong>is getting priced like an elite option, but the results don\u2019t support it yet. He\u2019s\u00a0opened 2026 with finishes of 25th and 41st and still hasn\u2019t cracked a Top 20 at this event, going\u00a022nd and 31st the last two years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a small sample, but the early numbers are concerning\u2014 losing strokes putting (-0.30) and barely breaking even on approach and around the green. At a\u00a0Top 5 price, you need separation, not mediocrity. I\u2019m not buying it until he proves otherwise.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ludvig \u00c5berg <\/strong>is trending the wrong way to start the year. He withdrew from his first event, then\u00a0 missed the cut in his next start, and the short-term putting numbers are alarming. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In just four\u00a0competitive rounds this season, he\u2019s lost -2.61 strokes putting<\/strong>, easily the worst mark in the\u00a0 field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even looking back, last year\u2019s pattern here was volatile\u2014withdrawal, win the next week,\u00a0 then five missed cuts or finishes outside the Top 50 in his next six events. Until the putter\u00a0stabilizes, he\u2019s a dangerous bet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hideki Matsuyama <\/strong>feels like a sneaky regression candidate this week. He benefitted from some\u00a0 very favorable lies after missing fairways last week, which helped mask shaky driving. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through\u00a0 three events, he\u2019s losing -0.34 strokes off the tee<\/strong>, and while fairways are generous here, his\u00a0 course history isn\u2019t\u201448th and 71st the last two years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The putter has been fine but not sharp\u00a0 enough to fully offset the tee-ball concerns. If the luck evens out, this could get messy fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am: DraftKings Darlings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ryan Fox ($6,400) <\/strong>is a strong salary-saver in a no-cut format where volume matters. He\u2019s been\u00a0playing solid golf on the DP World Tour and followed that up with a 24th-place finish last week\u00a0at the Phoenix Open. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fox is long off the tee and while accuracy isn\u2019t his strength, these wide\u00a0fairways help mask that weakness. With four guaranteed rounds, his power gives him plenty of\u00a0birdie upside at a bargain price.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jake Knapp ($7,900) <\/strong>has been one of the best performers to start the season, posting finishes of\u00a08th, 5th, and 11th in his three starts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He finished 33rd here last year, which is more than\u00a0serviceable given his current form. Knapp ranks 6th in total strokes gained this season, showing\u00a0that the results are backed by strong underlying numbers. He brings both safety and win equity at\u00a0 this price.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michael Thorbjornsen ($8,600) <\/strong>is trending fast after a rough opening week. He missed the cut\u00a0in his first start, then bounced back with finishes of 18th and 3rd over the last two weeks. His tee to-green numbers have been excellent across the board, consistently setting up scoring chances.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the putter remains the weakest part of his game, the ball-striking is good enough to keep  giving him makable looks. He\u2019s a high-upside DFS play worth paying for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
