Best NBA Prop Pick #1: Cam Thomas (BKN) Under 16.5 Points (-135)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Cam Thomas missed Brooklyn\u2019s 126-117 loss to the Suns on Monday but should be back in action tonight as the Nets make the short trip to Madison Square Garden for a game against the Knicks tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re going to take Thomas to go under 16.5 points tonight averaging just 12.1 ppg in eight January games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He hasn\u2019t eclipsed 16.5 points since January 4th and is shooting just 37% overall from the field this month as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Knicks look to snap a four-game losing streak so you know they\u2019ll be locked in on both sides of the floor already beating Brooklyn twice this season by an average of 24.5 points and holding the Nets to 99 ppg in those two games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sure, Thomas didn\u2019t play in either of those games but we don\u2019t think he makes enough of an impact similar to recent games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s worth noting that both the Nets and Knicks run at a bottom ten pace with Thomas averaging 15.4 ppg in road games compared to 18.8 ppg in home games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With that let\u2019s look for Thomas to go under 16.5 points<\/strong>, scoring in single digits in three of his last four games played.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jalen Duren continues his quest to become a first time NBA All-Star as the Pistons head to New Orleans to take on a floundering Pelicans team tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re going to take Duren over 17.5 points tonight with the Pelicans allowing the fifth most ppg to centers this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Duren is coming off an 18-point performance in Detroit\u2019s 104-103 win at home over Boston and has been averaging 12 field goal attempts per game since missing two weeks at the start of the month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Duren is shooting 63% from the field this season with the Pelicans allowing the third most points in the paint per game this season as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both teams run at a top-10 pace with the Pelicans also sitting 28th in defensive efficiency on the season. These two teams haven\u2019t faced each other yet this season but in their last head-to-head matchup in March 2025 Duren scored 22 points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
