The Nuggets are one of two teams yet to play a regular season game yet as they open up at home against the Warriors tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Golden State did a solid job defeating the Lakers 119-109 in their season opener but they allowed LA to still shoot 54% from the field including Deandre Ayton going 5-7 from the floor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re taking Nikola Jokic to go over 28.5 points to open up the season against a Warriors team in which he has scored 30+ points in five of his last six head-to-head matchups including 35.5 ppg in their two meetings last season. He also averaged 31.5 ppg in four October games last season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Golden State held the Lakers to 25% shooting from three-point range in their opener so Denver may be more inclined than usual to feed \u201cThe Joker\u201d inside for easy buckets if Golden State\u2019s stingy three-point defense carries over tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nuggets led the NBA in points in the paint last season so let\u2019s take arguably the best player in the league to go OVER 28.5 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NBA Betting Trends for Thursday, October 23<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Pacers will begin their season against a familiar foe after taking Oklahoma City to seven games in June’s NBA Finals. In nine meetings last season, Oklahoma City went 6-3 straight-up and against the spread and the point spread didn’t play a factor in any of those nine games: Oklahoma City either won-and-covered or Indiana earned the outright upset. Both regular season meetings went over the total, but five of the seven playoff games stayed under the number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#531 Denver Nuggets at #532 Golden State Warriors<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Coaches have changed. Players have changed. Arenas have changed. But Denver has enjoyed a lot of success over Golden State in this matchup over the last four seasons. The Nuggets have won 12 of the last 14 regular season meetings, but the Warriors got the best of Denver in the 2022 playoffs. Seven of the last eight meetings have stayed under the total including all three last year. Two of those meetings took place after the All-Star Break when Jimmy Butler joined the Warriors, so the Nuggets have gotten a good look at this current version of Golden State.
