Stay on top of the latest NBA<\/a> updates direct from Las Vegas!<\/em><\/p>\n The Nuggets travel to Boston as +5 underdogs with a total of 217 to take on the Celtics who have won eight out of nine.<\/p>\n Denver is coming off of two straight wins looking to make it three, but we\u2019re more concerned how we can make money off this game so let\u2019s take at look at the numbers and see what jumps out from a better perspective.<\/p>\n Boston is doing exactly what they should be doing, and that\u2019s taking care of business against the bad teams. Their last eight wins have come against awful opponents in Brooklyn, Orlando, Detroit, Charlotte, Miami (No Butler), New Orleans (No Ingram), Sacramento and Washington.<\/p>\n However, squeezed in there is a game against playoff Atlanta and they lost by 10. They\u2019re 6-4 against the spread their last 10 games, and they\u2019re 3-7 to the under their last 10 games.<\/p>\n Their defense has been good, but tonight will be a big step up in challenge for them as Denver has scored 124 and 132 their last two games. Boston ranks near the top in guarding centers, and Horford and Williams will have their hands full against a rested Jokic.<\/p>\n Tatum and Brown should have good games once again, especially Brown as he and Smart should be able to have success against Barton and Hyland on the perimeter.<\/p>\n After losing three straight to Western Conference teams the Nuggets got two straight wins against the Big Apple teams to restore their confidence.<\/p>\n Monte Morris will be out tonight leaving Bones Hyland to start for him which is a downgrade on defense so they\u2019ll have to help him out with Smart and Brown.<\/p>\n Denver is 4-1 against the spread their last five road games, and something to keep our eye on is that Denver is quick to rest Jokic at the end of the game if it\u2019s out of reach one way or the other.<\/p>\n The Nuggets have covered their last five wins, and not covered their two most recent losses so if they are up or down and it\u2019s close to a blowout look for the subs to come in.<\/p>\n I think there will be a lot of points in this game. Boston ranks high in defense against Centers, but the last time they played a great center Embiid had 25-16-4 and they lost to Philly 111-99 in that game.<\/p>\n Jokic should get his despite Horford and Williams being in the game, I just don\u2019t think they can keep up and Tatum and Brown have good matchups on the other side. Both teams are fully rested, they\u2019ve each put up 116 or more in their last two games, I expect this game to get to the 220\u2019s.<\/p>\n Prediction: Over 217<\/strong><\/p>\n \n \n Boston comes into this one on a 6-game winning streak and have had a few days to acquaint just-acquired backup C Daniel Theis and G Derrick White into the mix.<\/p>\n The Celtics are completely healthy, with all-star F Jayson Tatum and snubbed non-all-star G Jaylen Brown combining for 50 ppg, 15 rebs. and shooting 48.4% in their last 10 games.<\/p>\n Boston is one of the few teams in the league with no real injuries, as the Covid cases are waning in the Association. Denver is 2-3 straight up in its last five, while Boston leads the league in net differential and defensive efficiency over the past 13 games as well as ranking 3rd in rebounding percentage in that span.<\/p>\n The Celtics have covered four straight in this series (three consecutive straight up wins as well), with the last five going \u201cunder\u201d the totals.
