The Brewers have been on some sort of first inning run, and not in a good way as they\u2019ve failed to score in the first inning in 16 straight games now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With that we\u2019re going to play on a Cubs vs Brewers NRFI today as Chicago sends lefty Shota Imanaga to the mound. Imanaga hasn\u2019t allowed a first inning run in 10 of 14 starts this season and sporting a 2.68 road ERA on the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Milwaukee hasn\u2019t scored in the first inning in 89% of their home games as they send Freddy Peralta to the mound. The Brewers righty hasn\u2019t allowed a first inning run in 19 of 22 starts this season including six straight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He hasn\u2019t allowed a first inning run in 14 of 17 starts this season and with the Rangers losing the first two games of this series, he should be locked and loaded coming out of the gates.
