Napoli vs Inter Milan Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Neapolitans come into this game in fine form, winning all four of their previous Serie A matchups including holding three of those four opponents to zero goals as well. And it\u2019s pretty much been that way for Napoli all season.<\/p>\n

Napoli currently boast the best defensive record in the league this year, allowing just 0.67 goals per game to opponents on average along with owning the league\u2019s best expected goals against rating as well at just 0.70 xGA per game.<\/p>\n

Inter\u2019s Goal Blitz<\/h3>\n

Contrary to Luciano Spalleti\u2019s more measured approach over at Napoli, Simone Inzaghi and Inter have simply overwhelmed opponents this season, blasting home 54 goals in just 23 starts, equating to an impressive 2.35 goals per game.<\/p>\n

This is matched by their expected goal data as well as the \u2018Nerazzurri\u2019 have put up over a staggering 10 xG more this season than 2nd placed AC Milan have managed.<\/p>\n

With Inter being fast starters this season as well, with four of their last six Serie A road openers arriving in the first 15 minutes of play, we could see goals early here on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Napoli vs Inter Milan Prediction<\/h2>\n

This looks set to be an incredibly close contest between two of the best teams in the league on Saturday.<\/p>\n

While effectively we have a \u2018big three\u2019 on paper right now over in Italy, with everyone else just a half step behind, going by the data there\u2019s simply Napoli and Inter out front by themselves as AC Milan are vastly outperforming the metrics for a second straight season as they currently rank just 5th overall this season on expected points and 6th on expected goals against, and we expect them to tail off more and more as the season winds to a close.<\/p>\n

Inter had a great win in midweek against Roma over in the Coppa Italia, but have won just one of their last three matchups overall in Serie A prior to that.<\/p>\n

Napoli meanwhile have been the hottest team in the league over the last month, but face an Inter side on Saturday who they\u2019ve failed to beat over their last five competitive H2H\u2019s in both league and cup.<\/p>\n

With so much on the line in this one regarding the title race, we expect an extremely hard fought encounter this weekend between these two and we\u2019re backing the outright Draw at +245<\/strong> to get to the window on Saturday between Napoli and Inter over in Serie A.<\/p>\n
