Liverpool vs Leicester Analysis<\/h2>\n

Since that 1-0 loss to Leicester in December, Liverpool has gone seven games unbeaten, winning matches by an aggregate scoreline of 17 to 5 while Leicester has won just one of their last four games in all and got thoroughly embarrassed by Championship side Nottingham Forest 4-1 at the weekend over in the FA Cup.<\/p>\n

Fortress Anfield Back in Business<\/h3>\n

After going on an incredible run of three full seasons without a single home loss between 2017-18 to 2019-20, Liverpool, mainly due to a high number of first-team injuries last year, suffered six home losses last season.<\/p>\n

However, with a full squad available to them this season, the Reds have reverted right back to form, ranking as the only team without a single home loss so far over 2021-22.<\/p>\n

Liverpool has won all of their last five games at home by a 15-1 aggregate scoreline and have kept four clean sheets across those five wins as well. They\u2019ll look to boost that form even further by welcoming back the return of league top scorer Mo Salah ahead of this game from the recent Africa Cup of Nations tournament.<\/p>\n

Rodgers’ Scathing Assessment of Leicester<\/h3>\n

The current FA Cup holders Leicester were unceremoniously dumped out this year\u2019s competition by East Midlands derby club and current Championship side Nottingham Forest at the weekend and manager Brendan Rodgers was scathing in his assessment of the team\u2019s performance in that game.<\/p>\n

He called the performance an embarrassment to the fans and said some players weren\u2019t fit to the wear the shirt as he hinted at some massive changes ahead if things don\u2019t improve rapidly.<\/p>\n
