When taking 10+ field goal attempts, Loyd has covered this line in 7\/8 games this season and 39\/41 games last season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Loyd has also thrived against the Connecticut Sun with 25+ PRA in four straight head-to-head games including a game on May 20th where she played only 21 minutes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sun allow the most rebounds, 2nd most points and 5th most assists in the WNBA. Connecticut ranks 8th in guarding at-the-break threes where Loyd scores 55% of her points and they rank bottom 2 in spot-up and off-screen defense (her other top 2 scoring types). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A’ja Wilson has returned to action, but Loyd has still thrived with 22 and 20 PRA across two 34-minute efforts.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Aces are favored -18.5 points, but Loyd has already shown the ability to cover this line against the Sun even in a blowout.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expert WNBA Props for Wednesday: Kayla Thornton, Valkyries OVER 6.5 Rebounds (-114)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Kayla Thornton has only covered this line in 5 of 13 games on the season (avg 7.2) but she has covered this line in 4 of her last 5 games when playing 21+ minutes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her teammates Janelle Salaun and Temi Fagbenle are both playing in the EuroBasket tournament and that has left a boatload of minutes and rebounding opportunities for players like Thornton. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New York Liberty have allowed the 3rd most rebounds this season, and their interior is even weaker now as Jonquel Jones is on the shelf with an ankle injury. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without Jones in the mix, we have seen Nneka Ogwumike grab 7 rebounds, Alyssa Thomas 15 rebounds, Satou Sabally 9 rebounds and Angel Reese 11 rebounds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thornton fell short on the hook with 6 rebounds in both of her head-to-head meetings with the Liberty this season and Salaun collected 13 rebounds in one of those games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
