With the uncertainty surrounding Haliburton, this is still a very safe play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Chet Holmgren has recorded two double doubles in this series and both of those came at Gainbridge Fieldhouse where he scored 20 and 14 points to go along with 10 and 15 rebounds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Holmgren has scored double digit points in 3 of the last 4 games while landing on 9 in Game 5 due to a horrible 4-15 shooting performance in a game where he didn’t log a single free throw attempt (6 & 9 in two road games). <\/p>\n\n\n\n The rebounds are obviously the more challenging leg, and Holmgren has been a beast on the glass during each of the last three games with 10+ rebounds and 17+ rebound chances in every game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Thunder have stuck to the same defensive scheme; the Pacers haven’t figured it out and Holmgren has been able to work his way to the paint even when defending Myles Turner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Haliburton being banged up will lead to fewer actions involving Turner and it will leave more weakside chances for Holmgren. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Over the last two games, 35% of Holmgrens rebounds have been on the offensive end of the court and his ability to create second chance opportunities has been an X-factor for OKC. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Holmgren himself has scored 4 and 6 second chance in the last two games as he’s taken advantage of being the best rebounder on the floor outside of Isaiah Hartenstein. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Pacers will be firing away shots in an elimination game and Holmgren will have plenty of chances in both of these categories while playing 35+ minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Need an extra hand breaking down today’s basketball slate?
