Oilers vs Golden Knights Analysis<\/h2>\n

After a tough December and January, Edmonton will look to pick up where they left off as they closed out the first half of the campaign winning five of their last six before the All-Star Break.<\/p>\n

Las Vegas, meanwhile, looks to keep their perch atop the Pacific Division with a first win of the season against Edmonton, a team they\u2019ve lost to twice already this year.<\/p>\n

Oilers Look for a Better Second Half<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s been a reasonably tough start to the year for one the pre-season\u2019s favorites to lift the Stanley Cup.<\/p>\n

Having two superstars in Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl on the team wasn\u2019t enough to lift the Oilers from a fairly miserable 2-11-2 stretch over December and January.<\/p>\n

However, the Oilers finally found their shooting boots at the back end of January after getting thoroughly dismantled 6-0 by the Florida Panthers. After that embarrasment, the Oilers won five of their last six, with three of those five wins coming by multiple goal margins as well.<\/p>\n

Vegas Looks to Hold Momentum on the Road<\/h3>\n

With a 13-6-1 record on the road this season, you\u2019d be forgiven for thinking the Knights have little to improve upon in terms of away form this year.<\/p>\n

However, Las Vegas will play 21 of their final 36 games on the road this season to close out the year, so that strong road form will be put to the test over the 2nd half of the year.<\/p>\n

First up on that schedule is Edmonton tonight where the Knights will look to avenge two earlier defeats already this season, allowing 8 goals to the Oilers over two home games this year.<\/p>\n
