Cody Bellinger looks to make it three straight games with a home run as the Yankees host lefty Patrick Corbin and the Rangers at Yankee Stadium tonight. Yes, we\u2019re aware this is a lefty vs lefty matchup, but it looks to be in Bellinger\u2019s favor here tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He posts a .387 batting average to go along with a .677 slugging percentage against lefties on the season compared to a .226 average and .403 slugging percentage against righties. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Five of Bellinger\u2019s seven home runs have come at home on the season with Corbin allowing a .516 slugging percentage to left-handed hitters compared to a .400 slugging percentage against righties. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Corbin did fare well in his only start against the Yankees last season, but recently has allowed three home runs across his last three starts combined. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nonetheless, he does lead the Giants in home runs hit this season as they get righty Michael Lorenzen on the mound tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of the nine home runs Lorenzen has given up on the season, eight of them have come on the road and five of them coming against righties. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his career, Flores is 7-14 with three home runs against Lorenzen with the Giants first baseman doing most of his damage at home as well batting .349 with a .554 slugging percentage at Oracle Park compared to a .167 average and .345 slugging percentage on the road. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although Flores has just one hit in his last nine at-bats, he\u2019s still batting .310 for the month to go along with a .500 slugging percentage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
