| TV:<\/td> | CBS, ESPN<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n PGA Championship Course: Quail Hollow Club<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\nThe 2025 PGA Championship returns to Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina,\u00a0 from May 15\u201318, marking its second time hosting the major since 2017. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n The course will\u00a0 play as a Par 71 at 7,626 yards, featuring one of the toughest closing stretches in golf\u2014\u00a0the Green Mile\u2014which spans holes 16 through 18 and has a reputation for deciding\u00a0 tournaments in dramatic fashion.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Several changes have been made ahead of this year\u2019s event, including added length to the par-4 16th hole and updates to the greens, tees, and bunkering on holes 9, 13, and 16, all designed to enhance the course\u2019s difficulty. With fast greens, thick rough, and tight fairways framed by mature trees, Quail Hollow is built to test every club in the bag. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Rory McIlroy enters the tournament as a heavy favorite following his win at The\u00a0 Masters, completing the career Grand Slam. He has an excellent history at Quail\u00a0Hollow, with four PGA Tour victories at the venue, including a record-setting 61 and a\u00a0 five-shot win in 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Expect fierce competition from Scottie Scheffler, Xander\u00a0Schauffele, and Justin Thomas, all of whom thrive on major championship setups. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n With\u00a0warm weather and firm conditions expected, the 2025 PGA Championship should\u00a0 deliver a compelling test of elite shot-making and mental toughness.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n PGA Championship Marquee Holes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n16th Hole 529 Yards, Par 4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nThis hole is a brutal Par 4 where Par will be a good score. There is a bunker on the\u00a0 right that is 300+ yards out, on the right side of the fairway, and if a player can smash a\u00a0perfect drive, the ball can roll a bit further down a slope, but most are going to play it\u00a0safe and out to the left which leaves a brutally long second shot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n The green has a\u00a0 bunker on the right, and water long and left so inaccurate second shots will be\u00a0 penalized. It\u2019s a great hole that tests every part of the golfers game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n 18th Hole 494 Yards, Par 4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nI only give out one perfect score, and that\u2019s the 18th at Augusta, but this one is great,\u00a0 and will get a big rating. It\u2019s basically 500 yards, with a stream on the left side of the\u00a0fairway that runs the length of the hole, all the way past the green, so any shots that go\u00a0 left are in trouble. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n There are bunkers on the right side of green, so every shot has to be\u00a0perfect to have any chance at birdie or even par. It\u2019s a great hole that should give us\u00a0 some drama on Sunday, and it\u2019s everything I want in an 18th hole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n PGA Championship: Players That Can Trip You Up<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\nJoaquin Niemann\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nI just don\u2019t believe in Niemann at Majors. He\u2019s a front runner, and doesn\u2019t handle\u00a0 adversity well, and if he\u2019s not in contention, he can just give up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n He\u2019s priced as a Top\u00a010 guy, but he\u2019s yet to finish in the Top 10 at a Major in his career. Since he moved to\u00a0LIV, he\u2019s missed the cut twice at Majors, and his last 2 finishes at Majors are 29th and\u00a0 58th. No way I\u2019ll be betting on him this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Ludvig Aberg\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nThis course should set up great for him as he\u2019s long off the tee, but his accuracy hasn\u2019t\u00a0been there this season, and he\u2019s even on strokes gained approach, around the green,\u00a0 and putting, and he\u2019s coming off a 60th place finish last week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n He hasn\u2019t been the same\u00a0elite golfer since the WD when he was playing great, and got sick and left the\u00a0 tournament, and he has one Top 20 finish since then. I\u2019ll be happy to fade him this\u00a0 week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Brooks Koepka<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nI just don\u2019t understand why he keeps getting priced so high at these Majors. He\u2019s priced\u00a0 as a Top 15 guy to win, and he can\u2019t break into the Top 15 on the LIV Tour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n He missed\u00a0the cut at The Masters, this isn\u2019t the Koepka from years ago. He\u2019s had injuries, his intensity isn\u2019t there, you just can\u2019t be betting money on him in these loaded fields on the\u00a0 PGA Tour. He\u2019s a fade for me this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n PGA Championship: DraftKings Darlings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\nKeith Mitchell $6200\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nMitchell has been playing great with four straight top 20 finishes, and he\u2019s long off the\u00a0 tee which is a big help here. His putting haasn\u2019t been great recently, but he\u2019s +0.54\u00a0around the green, and +0.86 approach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n He was the first round leader last week, so if he\u00a0gets off to another good start he\u2019ll make the cut and give us valuable weekend points.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n JJ Spaun $6400<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nSpaun is long and accurate off the tee, so he should play well here if he keeps it up.\u00a0He\u2019s shown upside with 2 runners up recently, and a 17th place finish last week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n His\u00a0putting has been good this year at +0.20, and his approaches have been great this year\u00a0at +0.87. Solid price on him this week.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Harris English $6800\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nEnglish is coming off an 11th place finish last week, and that\u2019s 5 straight made cuts including 3 top 18\u2019s.
