Now Alonso is facing Cristopher Sanchez who he’s only 4-20 (.200) against but he does have a double and a home run. Sanchez has been solid with a 2.96 ERA and 31 strikeouts across 24.1 innings of work, but righties have hit .264 against the southpaw while lefties have hit only .143. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alonso has smashed left-handed pitching with a .375 batting average across a small sample size of 16 at-bats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Citi Field is a big ballpark, but the hitting conditions will be ideal with the temps in the 70’s and wind blowing out at 10 mph. Let’s back Alonso to pay us back for yesterday’s let down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MLB Player Props Today for Tuesday: Yordan Alvarez, Astros Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-130)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Yordan Alvarez is an elite slugger who has struggled for the majority of the season, but he did clear this line last night against the Toronto Blue Jays, going 1-3 with a walk and an RBI. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

More importantly, Alvarez has dominated Chris Bassitt, going 8-19 (.421) against him with five home runs and 11 RBI. Bassitt has been lights out with a 0.77 ERA and 1.07 WHIP across 23.1 innings of work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, he struggled against the Astros last season with a combined 8 earned runs allowed on 17 hits across 9.1 innings of work (2 starts). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Current Houston sluggers bat a combined .256 against Bassitt with seven home runs across 121 at-bats. Alvarez did the majority of that, but leadoff hitter Jose Altuve has also done damage, and he could set the table to Alvarez to cover this prop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alvarez has the ability to cash this ticket with one swing and I’m banking on him getting back on track tonight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
