Food City 500 Track: Bristol Motor Speedway<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bristol Motor Speedway, located in Bristol, Tennessee, is a 0.533-mile concrete oval known for\u00a0 its steep banking and stadium-like seating, earning it the nickname “The Last Great Colosseum” .\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The track features 24 to 28 degrees of banking in the turns, which contributes to its high-speed,\u00a0close-quarters racing. With a seating capacity of up to 146,000, it offers an electric atmosphere\u00a0 for fans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bristol hosts two major NASCAR Cup Series races annually: the Food City 500 in the\u00a0 spring and the Bass Pro Shops Night Race in the fall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, drivers like Denny Hamlin\u00a0 and Kyle Larson have found success here; Hamlin won the 2024 Food City 500, while Larson\u00a0 dominated the 2023 Bass Pro Shops Night Race. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chase Briscoe -115 over Joey Logano<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Logano hasn\u2019t really put it together this season so we\u2019ll continue to fade him. He has one Top 10\u00a0 finish in the last eight races. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Briscoe has three Top 10 finishes in the last seven races, and\u00a0Briscoe beat Logano head-to-head in both Bristol races last year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Logano has been feast or\u00a0famine in the past few years which is fine for this format for making the playoffs as bad finishes\u00a0aren\u2019t punishing, and winning is the name of the game so Logano will have a lot of mediocre\u00a0finishes and eventually a win when we least expect it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, I haven\u2019t seen the upside to him\u00a0 this season so we\u2019ll fade him this week with Briscoe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food City 500 Top 10 Prediction<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Alex Bowman +115\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bowman has had 2 bad finishes in a row at Martinsville and Darlington, but I like him to get\u00a0back to his Top 10 ways this week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before Martinsville and Darlington, he had 5 straight Top 10\u00a0 finishes, and he finished Top 10 at both Bristol races last year. I\u2019m still high on the Hendricks\u00a0 cars right now so we\u2019ll back Bowman at plus money here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
