If you enjoy doing in-game live betting, this contest will likely have an opportunity pretty early. The NCAA Tournament still has plenty of star players remaining, but perhaps no team feeds off its star quite the way Arizona feeds off fifth-year senior Caleb Love. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The former Tar Heel has plenty of experience playing against the Blue Devils, and these teams met earlier this season with Duke earning a 69-55 road win at Arizona in November. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Love was held to eight points on 3-for-13 shooting from the floor. When Love is on (27 points with five made threes vs Texas Tech; 29 points with five made threes vs Oregon), Arizona can beat anyone in the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
When he is not on, things can get ugly in a hurry. When the lights have been the brightest, Love has been known to shrink. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was North Carolina’s starting guard in the National Championship Game against Kansas in 2022. He went 5-for-24 from the floor in that loss. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Needing a win to qualify for the NCAA Tournament in 2023, Love went 3-for-15 from the floor against Virginia in the ACC Tournament. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a member of the Wildcats last season, Love went 2-for-11 from the floor against Oregon in the Pac-12 Tournament then went 5-for-18 (0-for-9 from three-point range) against Clemson in last year’s NCAA Tournament. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Love is a blast to watch and he will certainly not back down from the environment, but his track record leaves plenty of question marks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Back to our note about live betting: If Love hits his first shot or two, the Wildcats will feed off that and Duke will be in for a fight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But if he’s off the mark and the Wildcats fall behind early, then the Blue Devils can probably put this one on cruise control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Arizona vs Duke Predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Under Jon Scheyer, Duke has been favored by at least six points in a non-conference game 24 times. The Blue Devils are 24-0 straight-up, 17-7 against the spread in those contests. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Arizona has gone 5-16-1 against the spread in the NCAA Tournament since 2014, making the Wildcats the least-profitable team in the betting market in this event over the last decade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anything can happen with Love on the court, but ultimately, this game probably ends up very similar to the first meeting between these teams: A methodical, convincing Duke win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
