MLB Futures Bets: Boston Red Sox OVER 86.5 Wins (-105)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The Boston Red Sox have made some significant roster changes including Garrett Crochet, Walker Buehler, Alex Bregman and Aroldis Chapman. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Crochet is a #1 starter that is now two years removed from Tommy John surgery and Buehler finally started looking like himself in the postseason. There are also rumors that Boston could add Miami starter Sandy Alcantara prior to the deadline. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They already have a ton of depth and young players like Marcelo Mayer, Roman Anthony and Kristian Campbell that could contribute. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Red Sox scored more runs on the road (19) and had a better road record (43-38) last season for the first time since 2002 when the Sox were 51-30 on the road and 42-39 at home with 67 more runs scored. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That’s an outlier performance and they should get back to taking advantage of playing at Fenway Park in 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Players like Trevor Story, Garrett Whitlock and Liam Hendriks are no healthy and the addition of Bregman gives them more insurance if Story does get hurt again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I fully expect Baltimore and Tampa Bay to take steps back this season. which sets Boston up to potentially compete with New York for the AL East crown finish in 2nd place with a playoff spot at the very least.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
MLB Futures Bets: Cincinnati Reds OVER 78.5 Wins (-115)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Last season, the Cincinnati Reds finished in 4th place in the NL Central with 77 wins, but I see this young team finishing than better .500 in 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a Boston Red Sox fan, I absolutely love Terry \u201cTito\u201d Francona taking over as the manager as we have seen him be successful in leading the way for the Red Sox and Guardians. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Reds have a solid core of young players including Elly De La Cruz, Spencer Steer and Jeimer Candelario. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They have made some nice additions in Austin Hayes & Gavin Lux and now Matt McLain will return after batting .290 with 16 home runs in his rookie season in 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cincinnati already has a solid young pitching rotation with Hunter Greene & Nick Lodolo and now the 22-year-old Rhett Lowder has seen some major league experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now they have also added a workhorse Brady Singer who posted an ERA of 3.71 or lower in 2 of his last 3 seasons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I see the St Louis Cardinals & Milwaukee Brewers taking a step back this season and Chicago Cubs are the only NL Central team that has made major improvements outside of the Reds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
