| TV:<\/td> | Golf Channel, NBC<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational Course Preview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\nBay Hill is known for its ability to play easy in calm conditions but brutally\u00a0difficult when the wind picks up. This week, the weather will be a major factor,\u00a0 with rain on Wednesday softening the course, followed by strong winds on\u00a0Thursday that will make scoring tough. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Conditions calm down on Friday and\u00a0 Saturday, allowing for better scoring, but thunderstorms on Sunday could lead to a\u00a0 Monday finish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n The course itself features wider fairways than other Florida courses\u00a0like PGA National or TPC Sawgrass, but proximity to the hole remains one of the\u00a0toughest tests on Tour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Bay Hill\u2019s par-3s rank among the most difficult, and when the course is firm, the par-4s also become a serious challenge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Historically, ball striking alone isn\u2019t enough to win here, as putting on the TifEagle Bermudagrass\u00a0 greens has been key for past champions like Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, and\u00a0Tyrrell Hatton. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n The rough is 3 inches and thick, and with unpredictable weather\u00a0 and potential delays, adaptability will be just as important as skill in this year\u2019s\u00a0Arnold Palmer Invitational.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational Favorite Holes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\nFavorite Hole: 6th Hole Par 5 555 Yards<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nIt has to be the 6th hole here at Bay Hill made famous by Bryson Dechambeau\u00a0driving it over the water leaving himself 70 yards for his second. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n But for those that\u00a0 don\u2019t drive it 400+ yards here, it\u2019s an amazing hole that requires a really tricky\u00a0drive with water on the left, and the curve of the fairway wrapping around the\u00a0water so wayward drives to the right will find thick rough making the approach\u00a0really difficult. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n The approach is no gimme as there\u2019s still water on the left, and a\u00a0big bunker on the right so this is not an easy birdie Par 5. It\u2019s a gorgeous hole that\u00a0gives players birdie opportunities, but has plenty of danger to bring big numbers\u00a0 into play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n 18th Hole Rating Par 4 458 Yards<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nSolid finishing hole as the fairway is not terribly wide, and there is water on the\u00a0 right side that makes the fairway way more narrow so look for players to lay back\u00a0 a bit or bail a bit to the left. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n The green is massive so the pin location can make a\u00a0huge difference in the length of the approach shot, and there could be some crazy\u00a0long putts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n There\u2019s water to the right of the green that will see plenty of action,\u00a0and bunkers on the left and deep can cause some problems as well. It\u2019s a pretty\u00a0nice hole, but it doesn\u2019t really stand out as an elite 18th hole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational: Players That Can Trip You Up<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\nXander Schauffele<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nI don\u2019t think he\u2019s 100% healthy, and he even has said he just needs to get reps in to\u00a0 get ready for The Masters, and that sitting at home has been driving him nuts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n He\u00a0hasn\u2019t been able to practice, and get into 100% shape, and with a windy Thursday\u00a0in the forecast, I think he could stumble out of the gates, and with a loaded field I\u00a0 think just making the cut would be a big win for him this week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n He also doesn\u2019t\u00a0 have any Top 20 finishes at this tournament. This course has real bite to it, and I think he struggles in his first week back.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Min Woo Lee\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nHe\u2019s been one of the stars of TGL, he\u2019s played well this year with 4 Top 20\u00a0 finishes\u2026but the fan favorite is bad here. The last 3 years he\u2019s missed the cut\u00a0twice, and the other finish was 44th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Looking at the course history, it\u2019s all about\u00a0 his downright awful putting here so there\u2019s something he doesn\u2019t like or read well well here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n This is his best year as a professional so far, but I can\u2019t bet on him or put\u00a0him in DFS this week due to course history.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Ludvig Aberg\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n184th in putting inside 10 feet, 173rd putting between 4-8 feet, 177th in 3 putt avoidance\u2026159th in total putting. He\u2019s a beast, there\u2019s no doubt, but he\u2019s coming\u00a0off a win, and his stock has never been higher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n He\u2019s finished 24th and 25th in the 2\u00a0times he\u2019s played here, I think he\u2019s a bit over valued. He\u2019s priced as a Top 3\u00a0 player, and with this loaded field, I don\u2019t trust his putting to get him into the top 5\u00a0 this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Arnold Palmer Invitational DraftKings Darlings\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Christian Bezuidenhout $6500<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nHe\u2019s made 4 straight cuts in a row this season, and he\u2019s made the cut in 4 out of the\u00a0last 5 years playing here. His putting has been fantastic at +1.05 strokes gained\u00a0 putting this season, if he can keep up the nice putting, he could be a steal at this\u00a0 price.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Harris English $6600\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nFour straight made cuts this season, and he plays well here as he\u2019s finished 21, 2,\u00a026, 9 in his last 4 tournaments at Bay Hill. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n I wish his tee-to-green numbers were\u00a0better, but his putting has been solid this season so we\u2019ll depend on his course\u00a0history and putting to make the cut.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Sahith Theegala $7400\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nI think we may have gone to far with Theegala\u2019s value this week.
