LSU has been playing better basketball lately, but this is a really tough matchup for the Tigers. This will be the fourth meeting between Tennessee head coach Rick Barnes and LSU head coach Matt McMahon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shot volume tracks the number of field goal attempts your team is able to generate, mainly after turnovers and offensive rebounds. The more attempts that you are able to generate off turnovers and offensive rebounds, the less efficient you actually have to be on offense. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Well, LSU is terrible in those areas. The Tigers’ offense is No. 273 in turnover rate and bottom-25 in the country in defensive rebounding rate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In SEC play, the Tigers are turning the ball over on 19.2-percent of their possessions. Opponents are grabbing the offensive rebound on 37-percent of their missed shots against LSU. Those are the areas where Tennessee thrives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Vols are top-20 in the country in offensive rebounding rate. Tennessee has already won true road games at Louisville, Illinois, Texas, Oklahoma and Texas A&M. LSU blew an eight-point second half lead against Florida on Saturday night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re expecting that loss to linger a little bit, and Tennessee is the ideal opponent to take advantage. The Vols have won-and-covered each of the last three meetings in this series. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
LSU is 6-10 against the spread as an underdog this season, including 2-3 ATS as a double-digit \u2018dog. Tennessee is 8-6 against the number as a double-digit favorite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
