A loss here at Kentucky does virtually nothing to those odds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Commodores are a road ‘dog at Kentucky and this is a game they are projected to lose. But if Vanderbilt was able to pull off the upset, Torvik bumps their Tournament projection up to 86-percent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n It’s the ultimate no-pressure situation. A loss here does virtually nothing to hurt your long-term goals, while a win would likely carry you to March Madness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n When you’ve got a team that can play loose and free at this time of the year, that is a dangerous combination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Vanderbilt earned a 74-69 home win over the ‘Cats in late-January. Kentucky turned the ball over 17 times in that contest. We’re looking toward the over in the rematch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Vanderbilt went 4-for-11 (36.4-percent) from the free throw line in that first meeting. We said that we expect Vanderbilt to play loose and free in this game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n That’s great for offense, but probably not for defense where the Commodores are last in the SEC in efficiency, effective field goal shooting allowed, three-point shooting allowed and two-point shooting allowed.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Vanderbilt has allowed an average of 84.9 points per game in its last seven contests. The over is 6-2 in Vanderbilt’s last eight games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The total for the first meeting between these teams closed at 165 points.
