The Cougars have to adjust from playing at elevation in Boulder on Saturday for a short-turnaround game against Baylor on Monday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
With starting guard Emanuel Sharp out of the lineup, Kelvin Sampson used a six-man rotation to squeak past the Buffaloes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That was a two-point game with six minutes remaining before the Cougars gained some separation in the final minutes. Baylor should be able to do enough on offense to keep this interesting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Bears are No. 11 in the country in offensive efficiency with a well-rounded offense that shoots above the national average from three-point range, two-point range and the free throw line. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Baylor has played a top-10 schedule in the country, playing Gonzaga, Arkansas, St. John’s, Tennessee and UConn during non-conference play before the Big 12 grind. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unfortunately for the Bears, 6-foot-10 center Josh Ojianwuna suffered what is believed to be a season-ending injury in Saturday’s home win over UCF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ojianwuna is a big reason why the Bears are top-25 in the country in offensive rebounding rate this season, and his absence is going to be felt in this one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
These teams met in Waco last year with Houston earning an 82-76 road win in overtime. Baylor was +8 in rebounding in that matchup, shot 40-percent from three-point range and went 18-for-22 from the free throw line\u2026and still lost. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We’re interested in the over in this contest. When these teams met last season, the closing total was 135 and they cleared that mark before the game went to overtime. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Baylor is now missing its best interior defender and rebounder, and the total for Monday’s game is lower than what we saw last year? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
