The full game total for this game is set at 48.5 with both team totals sitting at 23.5 or 24.5 depending on where you look. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These teams have scored 20+ points in all five of their combined postseason games and this prop is 3-2 in those games with only the Green Bay Packers (10) and Houston Texans (14) failing to score 20 points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Philadelphia Eagles have an elite defense that allowed the 2nd fewest points (17.8\/game) and least yards (278.4\/game) during the regular season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Eagles lead the NFL in defensive success rate, they have held opponents to just 16.4 points per game since the beginning of October and most importantly they ranked 3rd with an average of only 8.8 points allowed in the first half. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kansas City Chiefs ranked 18th in scoring (22.6\/game) and 10th in first half scoring with 12.9 per game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chiefs have started fast during the postseason with 21 first half points against the Buffalo Bills and 13 first half points against the Houston Texans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, they only scored three points in the first half of last season’s Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers and 14 points in the prior Super Bowl against an inferior Eagles defense. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

James Cook and the Bills had success against the Chiefs on the ground in the conference championship and I fully expect the Eagles to prioritize controlling the clock with Barkley on the ground. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also see both teams playing conservative football early leading to a low scoring first half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
