Now he’s facing a Detroit Lions defense that has surrendered the MOST passing yards (1,736) and 2nd highest yards per pass attempt (8.15) in the NFL during the last six weeks of the regular season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the season, Detroit allowed the 8th most passing yards (243.7\/game) and 4th most pass attempts (36.3\/game). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Commanders also enter this contest as 9.5-point underdogs which will lead to pass heavy game script on the fast track at Ford Field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lions blitz at the 2nd highest rate in the league but Daniels has the mobility to extend plays and complete passes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can’t see Washington keeping a lid on the Lions offensive attack which will force Daniels to air it out and cover this line. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

NFL Divisional Round Passing Props Prediction: Jalen Hurts Philadelphia Eagles Over 9.5 Rush Attempts (-110)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Jalen Hurts only ran the ball six times for 36 yards during Wild Card weekend against the Green Bay Packers, but he was returning from a two-week absence due to a concussion.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now Hurts has had another week to recover and he’s facing a Los Angeles Rams team that he recorded 12 rushing attempts against during a 37-20 victory in Week 12. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rams defense has improved drastically since then and they should force more 3rd and 4th downs leading to even more Hurts rushing opportunities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hurts also runs the ball more frequently in home games with 10+ carries in 6 of 8 games (75%) compared to only 2 of 8 games (25%) on the road. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the Eagles get close to the goal line, the “Brotherly Shove” is always in play and with Philadelphia being favored by 6-points we have potential for additional carries in the victory formation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
