This should be a nice spot to back the Horned Frogs at home. TCU got hit with a swarm of injuries at the beginning of December, but Jamie Dixon’s team has had some time to re-adjust the rotation. Shooting guard Noah Reynolds missed some time in December, but he’s adjusted to Big 12 play nicely. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Green Bay transfer is averaging just north of 20 points per game in conference action thus far. Point guard Frankie Collins has missed the last six games and will be out for the rest of the season with a foot injury. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
TCU has held its own against the big boys of the Big XII in recent weeks, and the Horned Frogs are essentially three points away from being 4-0 against the spread in conference play. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
TCU missed the cover against Houston by one point. That was a three-point game heading into the first media timeout of the second half before the Cougars pulled away with a 12-2 run. TCU also missed the cover against Kansas State by two points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other side, we’re not giving Utah too much credit for beating Oklahoma State at home on Saturday. The Cowboys were on the Utah-BYU back-to-back and also lost to the Cougars by 16, so we’re not giving the Utes much of a bump after that effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Utah played the No. 357 non-conference schedule, including four opponents ranked in the bottom-25 of KenPom’s national ratings. Utah still has not beaten a top-100 opponent this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Utes’ first two Big XII road games saw losses by 25 and 23 points. Until we see Utah actually beat a prominent program, we’re happy to continue playing against them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
