It was only a three-point game at halftime (39-36), although the Hoosiers never trailed in the contest. Mike Woodson\u2019s team has now won-and-covered three-straight games, and the Hoosiers are still undefeated at Assembly Hall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This will be the Big Ten opener for Indiana, and the Hoosiers have earned eight-straight wins over Minnesota (6-2 ATS). These teams approach their scoring and production in vastly different manners. Indiana has four players averaging double figures, led by Malik Reneau\u2019s 15.4 points per game on 58.9-percent shooting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Arizona transfer Oumar Ballo had 14 points and 18 rebounds against the RedHawks on Friday. Minnesota, on the other hand, runs everything through senior forward Dawson Garcia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 6-foot-11 Minnesota native had 18 points and 11 rebounds in the Gophers’ 90-72 loss to Michigan State last week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Gophers have dropped three of their last four games, and Minnesota is still searching for its first win in the betting market (0-7-2 ATS this season). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Gophers are shooting a woeful 29.7-percent from three-point range, which is outside the top-300 in the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Indiana should win this game, the point spread result likely comes down to which team can dictate pace. Per KenPom, IU is 51st in adjusted tempo while Minnesota is 362nd (third-slowest in the country). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Gophers have had two extra days to prep for this matchup. We’re not convinced Indiana should be laying double-digits in this spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
