Most NCAA teams have played ten games.\u00a0 With just two games left, the inaugural 12-team playoff field is taking shape.\u00a0 Here\u2019s a list of my top 20 teams, with comments, as of 11\/20.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This list is based solely on my Power Ratings and will certainly be different from the current rankings put out by the playoff committee.<\/strong> 1 Ohio State \u2013 102.5<\/strong> Slight surprise that the margin is this much, but the one loss was 32-31, AT Oregon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2T Oregon \u2013 98.5<\/strong> 3-0 in tossup games.\u00a0 May not have peaked just yet.\u00a0 Big Ten title game winner #1 playoff seed?<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2T Alabama \u2013 98.5<\/strong> While the loss at Vanderbilt hurts, the Tide has been more dominant than most at times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4T\u00a0Texas \u2013 98<\/strong> Mostly dominating, except in the Georgia loss.\u00a0 Closing game at A&M will be a big one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4T Georgia \u2013 98<\/strong> \u201cGood\u201d Losses to Alabama and Mississippi, and wins vs. Clemson, Texas and Tennessee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6 Mississippi \u2013 97<\/strong> The team NO ONE<\/strong> wants to face in the playoffs.\u00a0 DL is amazing, and when healthy WR\u2019s are too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 7 Penn State \u2013 94.5<\/strong> Wins when expected, but still can\u2019t get over the hump vs. Ohio State, and struggled at USC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 8 Notre Dame \u2013 94<\/strong> Perplexing week two loss to NIU and a soft schedule, but led by defense, wins are dominant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 9 Tennessee \u2013 91<\/strong> Defense outperforming offense.\u00a0 Win over Alabama offset by loss at Arkansas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 10 Clemson \u2013 90<\/strong> Loss to Louisville hurt.\u00a0 Other than their run defense, well balanced.\u00a0 Closes w\/South Carolina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 11 Miami Fla \u2013 88<\/strong> Two extremely lucky wins on resume, but the offense is loaded.\u00a0 Would test anyone\u2019s defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 12 Indiana \u2013 87.5<\/strong> Massive coaching upgrade!\u00a0 Yes, the schedule has been soft, but the wins have been dominant.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n 13T Texas A&M \u2013 87<\/strong> No true signature wins, but Mike Elko has them playing at a high level in just his 1st<\/sup> season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 13T LSU \u2013 87<\/strong> Three straight losses, all to top twenty teams on this list.\u00a0 The defense is still not fixed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 15T South Carolina \u2013 86<\/strong> Early losses offset by recent four-game win streak.\u00a0 Under the radar dangerous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 15T Colorado \u2013 86<\/strong> Best in the Big 12, with two outright superstars and a much-improved defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 15T SMU \u2013 86<\/strong> Hit the ground running in the ACC.\u00a0 Good run-pass balance and an underrated defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 18 Tulane \u2013 85<\/strong> On 8-0 run vs. soft teams, but by the score of 347-119.\u00a0 After last week, up by 2 over Boise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 19 Florida \u2013 84.5<\/strong> Just 5-5, but a brutal schedule.\u00a0 My power number has found me huge value (6-1 ATS last 7).<\/p>\n\n\n\n 20 Iowa State – 84<\/strong>\u00a0 Several Big 12 teams close, but ISU\u2019s resume is still strong.\u00a0 The run defense has disappointed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
