Los Angeles Clippers vs Indiana Pacers Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Clippers will be finishing up an eight game road trip where they are 4-3 right now, and after a win yesterday against Charlotte, they will have a good chance to move to 5-3 on this road trip as they take on a Pacers team who has lost four out of five, and who have only won four games since Christmas.<\/p>\n

The Pacers open up a very small favorite at -2 with a total of 221, and we\u2019ll see if there\u2019s a play we can confidently wager on.<\/p>\n

Clippers Keeping Up<\/h3>\n

The Clippers have not folded since Paul George went out and we\u2019re seeing some nice performances from guys like Reggie Jackson, Luke Kennard, Amir Coffee and Brandon Boston Jr.<\/p>\n

They are 7-3 against the spread their last 10 games and 4-1 their last five games so they\u2019ve been a profitable team on this road trip, and they get a Pacers team whose defense is non-existent right now so if the Clippers gas tank isn\u2019t on empty today they could have a nice offensive showing. Their balance on offense has been a nice surprise as five different players have lead the team in scoring the last five days so it\u2019s tough to key in on one or two guys when defending them right now.<\/p>\n

Even though they are on a back to back, they should have plenty of energy as they beat Charlotte by 25 points yesterday and nobody on the Clippers played more than 27 minutes so this back to back isn\u2019t as grueling as others can be.<\/p>\n

Pacers Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Anyone<\/h3>\n

The defense of the Pacers is putrid at this point as they gave up 132 points to Dallas and that means that they\u2019re giving up over 118 points a game in 2022. They\u2019re 4-14 since Christmas and they just can\u2019t do much of anything on defense right now.<\/p>\n

There most recent win was on Friday against OKC in overtime in a game that SGA left early with an injury so that win was a bit lucky for sure. They\u2019re lack of defense has created an over trend for them as they are 4-1 to the over in their last five games overall and 4-1 to the over in their last five home games so don\u2019t expect lock down defense tonight from Indiana.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles Clippers vs Indiana Pacers Prediction<\/h3>\n

I think Indiana is a favorite because of the back to back situation for the Clippers, but this is not a bad spot for the Clippers. They didn\u2019t have to use a lot of energy yesterday and their game was in the middle of the day so they\u2019ve had a bit more time to refresh.<\/p>\n

This is the last game of a long road trip and they don\u2019t play again til Thursday and they\u2019re 4-3 on the road trip so I think we may see a Clippers team wanting to finish this stretch strong tonight. The Pacers last three wins have not been against anyone impressive as they beat OKC with the aforementioned Gilgeous-Alexander injury, Golden State in a Klay Thompson return situation with no Draymond and the Lakers who have lost 8 out of 11. I\u2019ll take the Clippers to win outright in Indiana tonight.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles is coming off an early start and 25-point win at Charlotte, marking Ty Lue\u2019s Clips\u2019 7th cover in its last eight games (4-2 straight up last six on the road). In that 8-game run G Reggie Jackson has and Luke Kennard have found their touch, shooting 47% and 49% respectively, and Amir Coffey has emerged as a legitimate player (14 ppg, 46%, 4 rpg).<\/p>\n

Indiana has had a laundry list of injuries and absences over the last few months contributing to a 9-21 SU mark in the Pacers\u2019 last 30 starts. Pacers, if the whole truth be told, have been playing without between 2 and 5 starters all season, and currently are down G Malcolm Brogdon, C Myles Turner and backup C Goga Bitadze has a sore foot and is iffy.<\/p>\n

The Clippers are manning the sails like the Prada\/Ferrari sailing team tacking in the America\u2019s Cup right now, and quite frankly, Indiana is not. First meeting was a 139-133 LA victory just 2 weeks ago, when Nic Batum exploded for a season-high 32 points and Jackson added 26, but it was Bitadze that kept Indiana in the mix in that meeting with 17 pts. and 8 rebs. off the bench and backup G Chris Duarte had 24 pts. on 10 of 14 FGs, 7 rebs. and 6 assists.
