Indianapolis Colts running back Jonthan Taylor has recorded an anytime touchdown in 8 of 12 games (75%) dating back to the beginning of the 2023 season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taylor let us down in Week 2 despite recording 135 all-purpose yards on 8.6 yards per carry in the first three quarters of the game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oddly, offensive play caller Shane Steichen decided to keep Taylor on the sideline for the entire 4th quarter due to the team being in “passing situations”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steichen must regret that decision, especially the first play of the 4th quarter where Trey Sermon ran for a 4-yard loss on 3rd and 1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chicago Bears do have a solid defense but Titans running back Tony Pollard did score in Week 1. Last week, the Bears kept Texans running backs out of the end zone, but they were dealing with a Joe Mixon injury early in the 3rd quarter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I fully expect the Colts to make it a priority to get the ball in Taylors hands and I couldn’t imagine him being more motivated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
