Head Coach Biff Poggi rubbed me the wrong way in his press conferences prior to his 1st<\/sup> season.\u00a0 His team went 3-9, with a win vs. an FCS team, and two close wins in the AAC.\u00a0 Eight of the nine losses were by double-digits.\u00a0 What did he learn from \u201923?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2024 UNC Charlotte NCAAF AREAS TO WATCH:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Biff Poggi went from hedge fund investor to a supporting role with Michigan to Head Coach.\u00a0 Some of his staff had light resumes as well.\u00a0 While QB Ivey returns, his 4-10 ratio, and 55% accuracy is replaceable.\u00a0 Max Brown was lightly used at Florida but may win the job.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3-3 to an absolutely critical game at Navy, but only one more win after that.\u00a0 UNC Charlotte likely stays home during bowl season, and if the coaches do not improve, 4-8 will be the ceiling.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
