Missouri College Football 2024 Preview: What’s the Situation?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I became a friend of Eliah Drinkwitz after hitting a nice season win total middle in \u201922.  He thinks I should trust him more, after I went 1-2 vs. the spread (0-2 against him) last year.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe so, as the Missouri Tigers lost only to LSU and Georgia in a fantastic 11-2 season.  Are they flying under the radar in the enlarged SEC? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2024 Missouri NCAAF AREAS TO WATCH:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

QB Cook is solid, and his WR\u2019s form a top five NCAA grouping.  The OL is decent.  Everyone loved RB Schrader last year, who ran 1,627-5.9-14 TD\u2019s.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He ran SO slow at the combine that he may be replaceable, save for the TD\u2019s.  Two more than solid Sun Belt RB\u2019s were added.  That\u2019s the area to watch.  The defense lost their stout coordinator (to LSU), but the replacement (South Alabama) has been pretty good at all his stops.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biggest issue is that this defense lost plenty of talent including five draft choices, three of them early!  The secondary was the hardest hit area, but sack pressure may also regress.  Two new PK\u2019s vie for the job, and in a league full of good kickers, that\u2019s yet another area to chart.

Missouri Football 2024 Predicted Total Wins Prediction<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Other than QB and RB, the rest of the team has roughly the 10th-12th best talent in the SEC.  Despite that, at the present time they would be favored in nine games, play two games (at Texas A&M, home to Oklahoma) that might be close to tossups, and be a true underdog just once, at Alabama.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This has 10-2 written all over it.\u00a0 Eli, I wanted to fade you, but can\u2019t.\u00a0 Still, let\u2019s check the OL the defense, and the kicking game early and often.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>
