\u2022The Offensive ROTY was dominated by the running back position in the past. Over the past ten seasons, it’s been split relatively equally with four going to quarterbacks, three going to running backs and three going to wide receivers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quarterbacks have won the award in 10 of the past 21 seasons including last season with CJ Stroud winning the award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2024-25 NFL Offensive Rookie Of The Year Predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Caleb Williams is the odds-on-favorite to win Offensive ROTY which makes sense considering he’s drawn comparisons to three-time Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, taking +135 for a long-term future just doesn’t seem to make any sense. A wide receiver won the award in 2021 and 2022 in Ja’Marr Chase & Garrett Wilson and they both led their team in receptions and targets while tallying 80+ grabs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The leading receiver on the current Arizona Cardinals roster from last season was rookie Michael Wilson who recorded 38 receptions on 58 targets for 565 yards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That leaves a huge opportunity for Marvin Harrison Jr to have a target share similar to Garrett Wilson’s in 2022 where he was targeted 59 more times than any other player on the team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DNA is obviously there and with Arizona playing from behind more often than not, Harrison Jr could rack up numbers in garbage time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
