NRFI Best Bet Today #1: Detroit Tigers at Minnesota Twins (-110)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Twins are averaging .52 runs in the first frame, which is 10th best in baseball, but we are going against them. So far this season, they are averaging .74 runs at home. Left-handed starter Tarik Skubal makes the start for Milwaukee, and Skubal is a stud who is having a fantastic season. He dominates the Twins’ current roster with a 32.2% K rate, a .214 xBA, and a .282 xwOBA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Tigers put up .49 runs per first frame, which is in the middle of the pack for the MLB, and we are fading them today. They are averaging .67 runs in the first inning over their last three games, so we expect regression. The Tigers score .54 runs in the first at home, which is a slight increase. They are facing righty Simeon Woods Richardson, who has been decent this season. He has poor numbers against the Tigers roster, but in a small sample size. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
