The course is a Par 72 at less than 7400 yards, and 3 out of the 4 Par 5\u2019s are reachable in 2. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Add to that, several of the Par 4\u2019s are less than 400 yards, there is only 1 hole with a water hazard, and the greens are receptive and it sets up great for a birdie-fest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n There are a couple holes where wayward drives can get caught up in trees or wet rough, but for the most part, this course is set up to see really low numbers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Most players will be hitting a high percentage of greens in regulation so it will ultimately come down to who putts the best this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic<\/strong> Favorite Holes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nHoles 14, 15, 16\u2026.Area 313<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nIt\u2019s a bit corny, but I like the concept. If you Eagle Hole 14, which is a Par 5\u2026then get a hole in one at 15, which is an easy Par 3\u2026then birdie hole 16, which is a Par 4, that is completing the 313 which is the Detroit area code. If a golfer does that, a charity of his choice wins $313,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Hole 14: 555 yard Par 5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nIt\u2019s a very easy hole that players can reach in two if their drive is decent. There\u2019s not much defense on this hole so there will be eagles on this hole setting up a fun next hole where they\u2019ll go for a hole in one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Hole 15: 160 yard Par 3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nThis is an easy green to hit as players will have a short iron in hand, and on the weekend the crowd should be pretty fun here. I would expect a hole in one on this hole, hopefully it\u2019s by someone who eagled the previous hole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Hole 16: 446 yard Par 4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nThere are some fairway bunkers that could gobble up tee shots, but if the ball lands in the short grass, it will be an easy approach. He\u2019s priced as a Top 10 golfer, but I don\u2019t buy it, even in this field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Will Zalatoris<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nHe\u2019s a big name in this field, but this isn\u2019t his type of course as he thrives on the tough courses, not the birdie-fests. His putting has been awful this year as he\u2019s -0.46 strokes gained putting the last 3 months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n If you can\u2019t putt well, you won\u2019t score low on this easy course. He\u2019s still suffering the effects of his back surgery, and even when he was healthy he finished 20th and 77th here. He\u2019s priced as the 8th most expensive player in the field, and I see very little chance of him returning value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic: DraftKings Darlings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\nTyler Duncan $6000<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nHe\u2019s made the cut in 3 out of 4 tournaments, and he\u2019s made the cut here 4 years in a row. It\u2019s not a pretty pick, but if we get him through to the weekend he\u2019s a steal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n Cameron Davis $7200<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nHe loves playing here as he\u2019s finished 17th, 14th and 1st the last 3 years.
