NRFI Best Bet Today #2: Kansas City Royals at Oakland Athletics (-110)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We cashed on this NRFI yesterday, and we are going back to the well today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Royals put up .55 runs per first frame, which is near the top of the MLB, but we are fading them today. They are averaging no runs in the first inning over their last three games, and we expect this to stick. The Royals score .31 runs in the first on the road, which is a solid dropoff. They are facing righty Mitch Spence, who has been solid this season, and we like his upside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The A’s are averaging .30 runs in the first frame, which is 3rd worst in baseball. So far this season, they are averaging .22 runs at home. Right-handed starter Seth Lugo makes a start for Kansas City, and Lugo has been great this season. He dominates the A’s current roster with a 35.9% K rate, a .232 xBA, and a .290 xwOBA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
